The Romans 6, 7 & 8 Study is about “the law of sin and death” versus “the law of the Spirit of life” (Romans 8:2).

This workbook teaches a basic course on how to study the Bible. It teaches the student how to use Vine’s Dictionary, Strong’s Concordance, Gospel Advocate Commentary, and Coffman Commentary on Romans.

The lessons reveal how God designed our brain to become increasingly efficient at obtaining what we desire. Or, in other words, God designed the human brain to become increasingly addicted, either to good or bad activities.

Romans 6 is about how the Christian becomes a slave of righteousness after being set free from sin. Romans 7 illustrates how we cannot overcome our sin addiction without God’s help. Romans 8 is about the powerful help we have from the Holy Spirit to maintain our freedom from sin and increase our devotion (addiction) to righteousness.

Romans chapters 6, 7 & 8 explain how forces & influences of “the law of sin” work to ruin and imprison our minds while the forces and influences of “the law of the Spirit” work to renew and free our hearts!
